1. Who We Are

Clarion Education is a technology company providing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and lead management software to educational institutions and service providers. Our platform is accessible at clarioneducation.in.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Account information: Name, email address, and organisation name when you register.
Lead data from Facebook Lead Ads: When you connect your Facebook Page to our platform using the Facebook Lead Ads integration, we access and store lead form submissions including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and any custom fields you have configured in your lead forms. This data is collected solely on your behalf as a business operating our platform.
CRM data: Contact details, follow-up notes, pipeline stages, and campaign data you enter manually into the platform.
Usage data: Log data, browser type, IP address, and pages visited for security and analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve our CRM platform.
To sync and display Facebook Lead Ads submissions within your CRM dashboard.
To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. password reset).
To detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your data or your leads' data to third parties. We do not use lead data for advertising purposes.

4. Facebook Lead Ads Data

Our platform integrates with the Facebook Lead Ads API to retrieve lead form submissions from Facebook Pages that you own or administer and have authorised within our app. By connecting your Facebook Page, you authorise us to:

Access lead form submissions from your authorised Facebook Pages.
Store this data in our secure cloud database on your behalf.
Display this data in your CRM dashboard.

We comply with Facebook's Platform Terms and Business Tools Terms. Lead data obtained through the Facebook API is used only for the purpose of operating the CRM features you have requested, and is not shared with any other party.

You may disconnect your Facebook Page from our platform at any time via the Integrations settings page. Upon disconnection, we will delete all Facebook-sourced lead data associated with that page upon written request to privacy@clarioneducation.in.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Firebase (Google): We use Google Firebase for authentication and database storage. Data is stored in compliance with Google's data processing agreements.
Service providers: Trusted vendors who assist in platform operation, bound by confidentiality agreements.
Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and CRM records for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days unless retention is required by law. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at privacy@clarioneducation.in.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access, and authentication controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your credentials confidential.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Withdraw consent for data processing.
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Our platform is intended for business use by organisations and adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our platform, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or an in-app notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
